Large-Scale Entertainer
Part of a much larger project, this stone and gravel fire pit area was born out of a keen desire for multiple functional outdoor spaces for large-scale entertaining. The project came with a ready-drawn plan by a local designer.
The stone wall arc serves as practical seating around the fire pit, while also retaining soil and garden to work in with the sloping land. Constructed from mud stone sourced from Mansfield and capped with concrete pavers, this wall matches another extensive wall installed around the alfresco area nearby.
The compacted gravel underfoot serves as the perfect base for the freestanding fire pit.
Additional works included expansive porcelain sandstone paved alfresco area, the relocation of an existing spa, steel edging, gravel paths, turf, and lighting.
