Simper Court

The brief for this project was to create a multi-functional outdoor space with low-maintenance as a high priority. The challenge was to transform a tired, overgrown garden into a functional space for entertaining right off the main living areas of the house.

Incorporating a merbau timber deck beneath the existing under-cover alfresco area, a personal bar was installed to enjoy the beautiful country vista.

Continuing the space further, sealed concrete, sectioned off with pebble infill and gardens, created separate ‘rooms’ for dining and lounging.

The entire outdoor living area was made complete with a custom designed and constructed concrete fire pit, extending the use of the space well into the colder months.
